Starting October 1, 2018, Kaiser Permanente Medicaid patients in Virginia will be able to continue to access their Kaiser Permanente physicians and providers through a new collaboration with Virginia Premier, a Medicaid Managed Care plan in Virginia.
Virginia Premier/Kaiser Permanente members will still have access to the award-winning Kaiser Permanente doctors they know and trust. New members of the Virginia Premier/Kaiser Permanente program will also now have access to high-quality Kaiser Permanente physicians in Virginia for services like:
- Outpatient care
- Pediatric services
- Medication
- Hospital inpatient care
- Emergency care
- Laboratory services
- Maternity and newborn care
- Mental health care
- Rehabilitative & habilitative services
- Preventive and wellness service
- Outpatient care

Members will receive a new ID card and their membership in the new plan will start on October 1, 2018.
