Virginia Premier announced this week that the recipient of its 2019 Practitioner Golden Globe Award is Matthew Aney, M.D. of Wythe Bland Pediatrics in Wytheville.

For the second year in a row, DVS has presented an award to Virginia Premier for its “outstanding commitment” to the hiring of women veterans of the U.S Armed Forces.
Effective March 1, 2019, Virginia Premier now offers hearing aids to Elite Plus Members. Coverage includes a $1250 allowance towards an annual hearing exam, hearing aid fittings, premium level hearing aids and batteries for a year.
During the 2018 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey Virginia Premier identified two areas of opportunity specifically noted in the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Customer Service Composite Measure related to communication and respect.
